The Felco C112 two handed cutter cuts Steel Cables up to 12.7mm. Its force transmission system which applies the maximum leverage at just the right moment makes light work of the most stubborn cables. The cutter is principally intended for use in the oil industry forestry power transport and telecommunications but is also excellent for use on yachts and in ports. Hardened steel blades and center bolts are made of unbreakable forged aluminum alloy handles with plastic covering for a good grip. All parts are designed for maximum protection against rust and salt water. This tool is suited for quick easy cutting of shrouds stays halyards and other rigging made of high-tensile wire rope or cable up to 1/2 inch diameter or 12.7 mm thick high tensile steel strands up to 12.7 mm thick, stainless steel strands up to 12.7 mm, extra tough wire rope or stands up to 12.7 mm. It also cuts electric cables of copper aluminum or steel-cored aluminum up to 12.7 mm aluminum or copper rods up to 12 mm diameter steel rods up to 12 mm and tempered steel spring wire up to 8 mm.
