Wire Rope

We stock high quality stainless steel (AISI 316) wire rope in 3 different constructions.

1x19:
A stiff wire rope with the least stretch designed primarily for staying applications, e.g. standard rigging on yacht masts.
The stiff nature of this wire normally requires swage terminal end fittings. 
Our 1x19 stainless steel wire rope is of premium quality intended for marine applications.

7x7: 
A moderately flexible wire rope that can be used for staying applications where a degree of stretch can be tolerated.
The flexibility of this wire permits end terminations to be either swage terminals or swaged eyes.
This wire rope is a very good choice for architectural balustrading where sharp turns will not be required.

7x19:
A very flexible wire rope ideal for running rigging, balustrade and shade sail applications.
Swaged eyes are easily formed with this wire and it is an excellent choice for architectural balustrading where sharp turns in the wire rope will be required.
